What Mouth from One Tree Hill is up to now – 21 years after show's debut

If you look back on iconic noughties television, is up there as one of the most memorable shows of all time.

From the Scott brothers' love-hate relationship to the rise of the Ravens and the endless love affairs - there was always something to grip us in Tree Hill. And, last month, excitement rose once more as stars of the show, and , appeared to confirm it will be returning for a sequel.

Sharing a cryptic social media post last month, they teased that the show could be coming back. Fans of the show first met Hilarie and Sophia when they appeared on our screens as Peyton and Brooke in 2003.

They starred alongside as Lucas Scott, James Lafferty as Nathan Scott and Bethany Joy Lenz as Hayley James. The group of friends got up to a lot together in the fictional North Carolina town, but there's one character who continues to hold a special place in many people's hearts.

A clip of Mouth McFadden, another key character in the show, recently went on . The snippet of an episode, shared by Kelsey.d93, was described as one of the best, and she admitted it "still brings a tear to her eyes".

The clip shows the moment Jamie and Mouth discover Nathan has made it into the NBA, and Mouth delivers a pretty touching speech as he presents the news bulletin. Other fans of the show were quick to point out that they still love Mouth just as much as they did two decades ago.

In the comments section, one person wrote: "'Jamie Scott, hug your dad for all of us'. A puddle of tears." Another wrote: "Mouth is the best friend of the whole show. No doubt."

A third replied: "No matter how many times I re-watch OTH, this is one of the many scenes that makes me cry." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "This scene makes me sob no matter how many times I've seen it."

Bu, have you ever wondered what happened to actor Lee Norris, who played Mouth in the show? Lee, now 43, actually went onto to star in other television hits after his stint in Tree Hill.

After starring in Boy Meets World in the early 90s, he appeared as a recurring character in the first two seasons of the show's spin-off series, Girl Meets World, where he reprised his role as Minkus.

In 2017, he also appeared in two episodes of The Walking Dead and starred in a festive film called the Wish in 2019. He also had roles in films such as Gone Girl and Greyhound.
